System Engineer (IoT)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end system architecture for IoT products used in low- and high-voltage energy environments.
• Define system concepts, operational scenarios, requirements, interfaces, constraints, and success criteria.
• Coordinate electronics, firmware, mechanical, FPGA, DSP, platform, cloud, mobile, data, manufacturing, and field engineering teams.
• Lead integration sequencing, prototyping, subsystem bring-up, technical investigations, fault analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Develop system-level verification and validation plans covering functional, environmental, electrical safety, thermal, EMC/EMI, and interoperability requirements.
• Ensure product readiness for field deployment and that quality gates and acceptance criteria are met.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a similar discipline.
• Proven experience delivering physical IoT devices integrating electronics, sensors, embedded firmware, and mechanical components.
• Experience with low-voltage systems, high-voltage systems, or both, ideally in the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of system lifecycle processes, embedded and real-time systems, microcontrollers, sensor chains, power systems, and hardware–software interactions.
• Experience managing complex interfaces, requirements traceability, system artefacts, trade studies, failure analysis, and verification evidence.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
