Location: Full-time onsite position based at the integration center in Sydney, NSW, Australia; flexible working options, including a hybrid model, may be discussed. The role provides engineering support to the manufacturing site in Barcelona, Spain.

What you will do
- Lead and develop a manufacturing engineering team covering mechanical, industrial, and electronics engineering, as well as production support.
- Establish performance metrics and deliver safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing operations, design, and development teams to execute the manufacturing strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement across business systems, manufacturing processes, and electronic repair center procedures.
- Support new product introduction and development projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate plant maintenance, engineering changes, quality improvements, and manufacturing support for the Sydney and Barcelona sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or production engineering, or equivalent experience; a master's degree with relevant experience may be considered.
- At least 6 years of engineering experience, including recent supervisory experience leading an engineering team.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, communication, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, process improvement, systems, and automation.
- Strong financial and commercial manufacturing competence.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment with globally distributed teams.
