Manager, Treaty Business Services NA (Reinsurance)

Location: Armonk, NY, US, or Kansas City, MO, US. Hybrid work requires at least three days in the office each week; full-time telework is not available.

Base salary: $108,000–$162,000 in Kansas City, MO, or $118,000–$178,000 in Armonk, NY, plus potential incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of the Treaty Business Services catalogue for North American markets, covering submissions, renewals, and post-bind activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop team leaders and team members through performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
• Set and improve KPIs covering quality, turnaround time, productivity, and operational risk.
• Partner with Underwriting, Client Markets, Finance, Risk, global Operations, and Centers of Expertise.
• Drive standardization, simplification, digitization, and automation in line with the target operating model.
• Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, change initiatives, and the rollout of new services across locations.

Requirements

• Experience leading business services, operations, or underwriting support teams in reinsurance, insurance, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of Treaty reinsurance processes and the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle.
• Experience stabilizing and scaling service delivery across markets and leading change initiatives.
• Experience managing KPIs, capacity planning, and service performance in a matrix, multi-location environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
