Global Capital Markets Transaction Manager II

Salary: $106,700–$177,900 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Negotiate transaction documents and facilitate timely closings for smaller and mid-tier Global Capital Markets clients.
• Manage transactions where Wilmington Trust serves as trustee and provides complementary products or roles.
• Act as the centralized, client-facing deal manager and coordinate internal operational and support groups.
• Support Sales with business development initiatives and coordinate deal structures based on asset type.
• Resolve escalated client issues and involve Transaction Leaders when required by client size or risk.
• Maintain compliance with risk, regulatory, internal control, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related experience, or a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience including at least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience negotiating and closing transactions, preferably in Global Capital Markets.
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents.
• Strong legal background and understanding of corporate trust activities.
• Ability to work with clients, Sales, Transaction Leaders, and internal support groups.
• Role location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States of America.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Juris Doctor degree.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Global Capital Markets deal-closing experience.
• Corporate Trust experience.
