General Duties Technician (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Didcot, United Kingdom; frequent travel between production facilities and satellite sites is required.

What you will do

• Maintain production facilities in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Carry out routine housekeeping and preventative maintenance activities.
• Support corrective maintenance during plant and equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, mechanical integrity programmes, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate and oversee LOLER and PUWER inspections.
• Work with the Mechanical Maintenance team to manage spare parts and consumable inventories.

Requirements

• GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science at Grade C/4 or above, equivalent qualifications, or relevant experience.
• Experience working in industrial environments and with industrial or plant maintenance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with teams, customers, regulatory bodies, and OSC operators.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Ability to travel frequently between sites and provide support during and outside normal working hours.

Nice to have

• Full UK driving licence.
• FLT (Forklift Truck) licence or certification.
