Field Service Engineer (Food Sorting)

Location: Nantes, France; home-based hybrid contract with domestic travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, plus occasional international travel.

Salary: from EUR 31,944 per year, plus up to a 10% annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver field service work within cost and time objectives.
• Commission, install, adjust, test, integrate, and optimize food sorting equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform preventive and corrective repairs.
• Train customers in system operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve customer support.
• Maintain detailed field reports for administrative follow-up.

Requirements

• Technical training at BAC+2 level in electronics, electrotechnics, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience providing on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial customers.
• Fluent French and English at minimum B2 level are required.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours.
• Understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.
• Valid driver's license and strong customer relationship skills.
