What you will do
- Translate customer needs into system specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Define technical roadmaps with system and software engineers and break requirements into milestones.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog across new features, technical improvements, and customer feedback.
- Drive the development of high-performance, user-centric interfaces with Qt/QML.
- Identify and resolve delivery risks while ensuring quality, budget, scope, and schedule targets.
- Coordinate external suppliers and subcontractors, system integration, progress reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, aeronautical engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience across the systems engineering lifecycle of simulation projects.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, DevOps pipelines, and containerization.
- Technical familiarity with C++ and Qt/QML.
- Experience in project management and coordination of external suppliers or subcontractors.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with military flight training devices.
- Understanding of military aircraft systems, operational procedures, and mission workflows.
- Passion for simulation and a proactive, pragmatic mindset.
