Systems Engineer for Flight Controls (High Lift Systems) (d/f/m)

Location: Bremen, Germany; business travel worldwide up to once a month; reduced weekly hours and adapted scope of tasks are available.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and integrate the High Lift System and its subsystem control architecture.
• Apply automated control technologies in flight control systems, including filtering, estimation, and stability assessments.
• Define development checks and balances to ensure product maturity across milestone gates.
• Identify lifecycle activities for developing, maintaining, and supporting the product design.
• Define work package contents and related engineering activities.

Requirements

• University degree in electrical engineering, information technology, systems engineering, or a related field.
• Broad knowledge in at least two relevant disciplines, such as control technology, sensing and data generation, software development, or systems engineering.
• Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering and/or software development tools.
• Advanced English and German language skills required.
• Teamwork, communication skills, personal engagement, and adaptability in an international environment.
• Willingness to travel worldwide for business up to once a month.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data analytics.
• French language skills.
