What you will do
- Drive the systems engineering process for electrical system definition, wiring, outfitting, and sensor integration in USVs and UUVs.
- Develop electrical system block diagrams, multi-line diagrams, connection plans, and pre-production cable trees.
- Develop automation systems and program automation software in cooperation with the Software Implementation Engineer.
- Create test procedures for setting systems to work and prepare production-ready electrical designs.
- Create bills of materials with the Supply Chain team and design solutions for different product configurations.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering and central hardware and software development teams.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering for serial ship design.
- Experience with EPLAN or similar electrical engineering systems.
- Strong motivation to advance maritime and unmanned vessel technology.
- Self-motivated, independent, communicative, and able to act as an internal technical expert.
- Professional communication in English is required.
