Sr. Energy Services Project Manager (HVAC/BAS)

Location: Roanoke, Virginia, United States. Work onsite Monday through Thursday; choose the work location on Fridays based on project needs.

Annual base salary: $113,050–$143,700. Incentive eligible; not sales commission eligible.

What you will do

• Manage project financials, administration, implementation, delivery, and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of smaller and complex multi-building controls projects.
• Lead project teams and serve as the primary point of contact for customers, stakeholders, technicians, subcontractors, sales, and estimating teams.
• Review contract documents, identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage project scope, cost, schedule, compliance, documentation, and safety requirements.
• Control cash flow, forecasts, expenses, collections support, backlog reviews, applied costs, and corrective actions.
• Manage subcontractor qualification, requests for quotation, awards, execution, task planning, schedules, communications, plans, specifications, and submittals.
• Lead change order management by developing solutions, coordinating quotes, and closing orders.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, building automation, or construction project management is preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in HVAC, BAS controls, and project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading teams with different technical skill levels and planning resources and manpower efficiently.
• Familiarity with executing projects as a third-tier contractor; experience working with building owners is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions within the previous three years.
• Safety-sensitive role; additional drug screening may be required.
