Technical Project Manager (Financial Trading)

Annual base salary: $200,000–$250,000 USD

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of technical projects across trading platforms, execution infrastructure, and quantitative research tooling.
• Translate goals into project plans, milestones, dependencies, and measurable outcomes with engineers, quantitative researchers, and traders.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and delivery risks in a fast-moving, low-latency environment.
• Establish and improve planning, prioritization, status reporting, and post-mortem practices.
• Communicate progress, trade-offs, and decisions to technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience managing technical projects or engineering programs.
• Engineering or computer science background, either through an academic degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Technical fluency in architecture, trade-offs, delivery risks, and performance- and reliability-critical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time while aligning multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including sound escalation judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience in trading, financial markets, or another high-performance, data-intensive domain.
• Familiarity with low-latency systems, distributed infrastructure, or quantitative workflows.
