Implementation Manager – Embedded Finance

Location: San Francisco or New York, United States; 3 days in office

Salary: $150K–$250K annually, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex client integrations from scoping and solution design through go-live and early optimization.
• Translate business requirements and solution proposals into project delivery plans, operating rhythms, timelines, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate onboarding, configuration, testing, certification, pilots, launches, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and external partners.
• Prioritize integration requirements with Product and Engineering teams while managing roadmap constraints, trade-offs, and client commitments.
• Track delivery metrics, conduct post-launch reviews, and improve integration playbooks using professional services and project management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Delivery Management or Project Management for complex technology or financial services implementations.
• 5+ years of professional services or client-facing delivery experience in consulting, systems integration, or enterprise implementation.
• Experience with global payment products or technology-led business solutions and translating product capabilities into partner integration plans.
• Experience delivering cross-functional projects with C-level executives, technical teams, operations, and diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, steering meeting, status reporting, and decision-influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale partner integrations in fintech, payments, card schemes, payment gateways, global acquiring, or embedded finance.
• Experience working with integration engineers, solution architects, or technical program managers on API-based integrations.
• Project management or agile certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master.
• Experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts within broader account teams.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
