Biostatistics Franchise Lead (Vaccines)

Location: Hybrid role in Morristown, NJ or Waltham, MA; available to US and Puerto Rico residents only

Salary: $206,250.00–$297,916.66 per year

What you will do

• Lead data and biostatistical strategy for a vaccines portfolio, including prioritization and innovative study designs.
• Guide biostatistical input into clinical development strategies, business planning, regulatory documents, quantitative risk assessments, and external-data analysis.
• Plan operational resources, budgets, staffing, and workload allocation across clinical and medical projects.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and manage biostatisticians, contractors, and matrix relationships.
• Lead continuous-improvement and cross-functional initiatives for the global Biostatistical Sciences strategy and roadmap.
• Represent Vaccines Biostatistics in health-authority interactions and external biostatistical forums.

Requirements

• PhD in Biostatistics or a related field with 10+ years of pharmaceutical-industry biostatistics experience, or a Master’s degree with 15+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of people-leadership experience; direct people management experience is preferred.
• Strong experience in biostatistical methods across vaccine or drug development, including end-to-end activity management.
• Experience with regulatory guidance, regulatory submissions, inspections or audit findings, clinical trials, and good clinical practice standards.
• Expertise in biostatistics and programming processes and tools, with project-management, communication, and matrix-leadership skills.
• Fluent English is required.
