Cyber Security Expert - Senior (Payments)

What you will do

• Act as a senior technical authority across cybersecurity domains and advise stakeholders on security decisions.
• Identify material security risks, assess business and technical impact, and drive proportionate remediation.
• Plan and coordinate technical security assessments, architecture reviews, risk analyses, and control evaluations.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, application, product, operations, risk, and compliance teams to embed security practices.
• Strengthen cloud security through reviews of architectures, configurations, identities, data protection, monitoring, and secure engineering patterns.
• Support incident investigations, vulnerability management, threat modelling, security monitoring, offensive-security activities, and security capability development.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related technical discipline.
• Deep expertise in at least one cybersecurity domain and broad knowledge of cloud, application, infrastructure, identity, vulnerability, detection, response, or offensive security.
• Experience with public-cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls, plus secure architecture, DevSecOps, automation, threat intelligence, penetration testing, or digital forensics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills, including autonomous work in ambiguous situations.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience, with certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, OSCP, or GIAC preferred.
