IT Security Specialist

Location: Solna, Sweden, with preferred locations in Stockholm/Solna or Kallebäck/Göteborg.

What you will do

• Translate Security Management System and security requirements into technical standards, guidelines, and specifications.
• Design practical security solutions and oversee security controls across the IT system lifecycle.
• Lead technical security validation through reviews, audits, scans, and configuration assessments.
• Conduct threat modeling, technical risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis.
• Work with architects and system owners to implement security by design and actionable remediation plans.
• Drive automation and digital tools for security monitoring and continuous compliance.

Requirements

• University degree or relevant experience in IT security, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience translating ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-171, and/or KSF requirements into technical baselines and standards.
• Experience with technical risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis.
• Strong knowledge of secure system design, networking, and security architecture.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, including the ability to explain security matters to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Security vetting is required; additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with cloud security, containerization, microservices, DevSecOps, automation, and continuous compliance monitoring.
• Experience in defense, government, or global organizations.
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanners, SIEM, and IAM solutions.
• Experience leading technical security initiatives or projects.
