Legal Counsel, APAC

What you will do

• Provide legal advice and support to sales and procurement teams across APAC.
• Draft, review, and negotiate software licensing, SaaS, AI, professional services, vendor, NDA, and partner agreements.
• Support acquisitions, strategic transactions, corporate governance, intercompany matters, and APAC subsidiary activities.
• Manage contract lifecycle activities, including approvals, signatures, generation, administration, and archiving.
• Improve legal education, playbooks, templates, contracting processes, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and optimize legal technology and AI-enabled tools, including contract management platforms.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• 4–6 years of sophisticated commercial contracting experience in-house or in a law firm.
• Knowledge of legal issues related to on-premises software, SaaS, cloud, AI, licensing, sales, and professional services.
• Strong English language skills required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, project management, communication, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced technology environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with a Contract Lifecycle Management platform such as Evisort.
• Salesforce experience.
• Interest in legal technology and AI-enabled tools.
