Senior Contract Solutions Lawyer (APAC)

What you will do

• Independently negotiate and execute high volumes of pre-M&A contracts, including NDAs, NRLs, joinders, and engagement letters.
• Act as the primary day-to-day legal contact for investment fund and asset manager clients.
• Maintain and improve client-specific contract playbooks and manage matters from initial review through execution and system logging.
• Mentor junior lawyers and paralegals while reviewing their work.
• Use and improve AI-backed legal technology, including hirify.global's proprietary platform, Ava.

Requirements

• Law degree and a licence to practise law in an APAC jurisdiction, the UK, the US, or Canada.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Independent experience negotiating pre-M&A contracts in a financial services legal environment.
• Ability to advise sophisticated investment fund and asset manager clients and communicate legal advice clearly.
• Commercial judgment, strong ownership, and the ability to mentor junior lawyers and paralegals in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-backed contract review tools and legal technology improvement.
• Ability to review and negotiate in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin.
