Legal Counsel (Capital Projects)

What you will do

• Lead legal support for site selection, property, planning, leasing, and acquisition workstreams across the APJ region.
• Review and negotiate legal contracts and provide practical, commercial advice on property and planning matters.
• Support commercial arrangements, contractual frameworks, and policies for the expansion of data centre developments.
• Monitor property, foreign investment, planning, and regulatory developments and drive compliance initiatives.
• Advise on claims and disputes and provide legal support for energy, construction, development, procurement, and other strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 8 years of real property experience in a reputable law firm or in-house environment.
• Experience advising on a broad range of property-related matters across APJ markets.
• Strong negotiation, commercial judgement, risk management, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders autonomously and efficiently.

• Experience in planning-related legal matters.
