Maintenance Tech I - 2nd Shift (Automation/Robotics)

Location: Glens Falls, New York, United States; onsite, 2nd shift, with up to 10% business travel within and outside the state.

Salary: $26.25–$38.00 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, equipment assembly, and operational testing.
• Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment, resolve malfunctions, and escalate complex issues to senior technicians or leadership.
• Document maintenance work, operating logs, production delays, and corrective actions in CMMS and ticketing systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime and spoilage events and verify corrective actions.
• Support facility and building projects, including repairs involving lighting, doors, furniture, ceilings, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment.
• Working knowledge of machinery, Microsoft Excel, inputs and outputs, and PLC logic systems.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours, work up to 6 days per week, lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally, and work on ladders or at heights.
• Ability to follow Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, PPE, and other safety procedures; willingness to operate forklifts and learn new equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel up to 10% for business purposes.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, or an equivalent field.
• At least 3 years of building maintenance experience in a facility larger than 75,000 square feet.
