Equipment Maintenance Technician / Robotics Field Service Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Chino, California, United States; on-site work required

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Install, disassemble, commission, troubleshoot, and repair robotic and automated equipment on site.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, motor, sensor, controller, battery, and communication system issues.
• Replace components, perform software and firmware upgrades, calibrate equipment, and conduct functional testing.
• Analyze faults using error codes, system logs, technical documentation, and diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate with manufacturer technical support to resolve complex equipment issues.
• Complete maintenance work orders, service records, and technical reports.

Requirements

• Training or a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, robotics, electromechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience repairing mechanical equipment, electronic products, or similar systems is preferred.
• Strong hands-on ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and common maintenance and repair tools.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Work effectively in an on-site role in Chino, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with robots, AGVs, AMRs, automated equipment, or electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with PLC, ROS/ROS2, Linux, CAN, Modbus, or related technologies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
