What you will do

  • Inspect, operate, maintain, calibrate, repair, replace, and modify automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic vehicles, lifts, adapters, and robotic arms.
  • Monitor system flow and support continuous operation to maximize throughput and cases per hour.
  • Troubleshoot robotic vehicle stoppages and electro-mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and advanced test equipment.
  • Recover automated robotic vehicles in restrictive environments and perform minor utility work, including machining, cutting steel, sensor alignment, and bracket installation.
  • Document inspections, parts, labor, repairs, and corrective actions in the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Communicate production-impacting issues, estimated repair times, and recommended actions to relevant team members.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent education and training.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and experience troubleshooting programmable control systems.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to follow electro-mechanical diagrams.
  • Ability to operate automated systems, perform inspections, and work independently from procedures and manuals.
  • Associate degree or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite in Manchester, Pennsylvania, including at heights, in restrictive areas, and in temperatures from 32°F to 105°F.
