Head of Finance Operations (Crypto)

Salary: $300,533–$360,639 per year, plus potential performance bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead global accounting and finance operations, including reporting, month-end close, financial controls, regulatory reporting, and local audits.
• Manage a team of more than 30 finance professionals across 15 countries and ensure accurate, timely, and defensible financial output.
• Partner with regional C-suite leaders on business strategy, exchange listings, infrastructure investment, M&A, capital planning, investor relations, and financially significant partnerships.
• Evaluate new products, markets, and licenses through unit economics, capital requirements, tax and regulatory costs, and downside scenarios.
• Build control and risk frameworks covering digital-asset custody and movement alongside conventional banking flows, including SOX readiness and audit requirements.
• Manage relationships with regulators, banking partners, payment providers, boards, and governance bodies while standardizing global finance policies, reporting architecture, close, and consolidation processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Deep technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with CPA, ACCA, CA, or an equivalent certification.
• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a cryptocurrency exchange, fintech, or financial services company.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, digital-asset accounting, and financial regulations across jurisdictions such as NYDFS, MAS, VARA, MiCA, and FCA.
• Experience with financial systems such as Oracle NetSuite, automation tools, multi-currency operations, and intercompany transactions.
• Ability to lead teams across multiple jurisdictions and time zones, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
