Senior User Experience (UX) Designer

What you will do

• Define the design vision, principles, standards, patterns, and component library for the AGSE Service.
• Own end-to-end design for remote assistance, dispatch, and fleet monitoring tools.
• Design high-stakes, real-time operator workflows where information density, escalation handling, safety, and decision latency are critical.
• Shape airline- and airport-facing dashboards, performance reporting, and SLA visibility tools.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Operations teams to align design with customer and operational needs.
• Conduct customer and operator research through usability testing, contextual inquiry, and operator shadowing.

Requirements

• BFA, BS, or equivalent experience in Design, HCI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product design experience owning complex, multi-surface products end to end.
• Experience designing operator-facing or operations tooling with real-time data, complex workflows, and high reliability requirements.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, visual design, information architecture, and information-dense interfaces.
• Experience shipping 0-to-1 products and establishing design standards, component libraries, or design systems from scratch.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with front-end engineers and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with teleoperations, remote assistance, fleet management, or real-time monitoring products.
• Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, aviation, industrial operations, or other safety-critical domains.
• Experience as the first designer or an early design hire at a startup.
• Experience designing for time pressure, cognitive load, safety-critical decisions, system confidence, uncertainty, and degraded states.
• Familiarity with airline, airport, or large-scale fleet operations environments.
