Hiring Immediately! CNC Machine Operators - 2nd Shift

Location: On-site in Lebanon and Hanover, New Hampshire. The role involves 8-hour shifts, extended standing, repetitive motion, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The CNC Fundamentals course takes place on 1st shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for approximately four weeks; the position is on 2nd shift.

Salary: $26.65/hour starting base pay plus a 10% 2nd-shift differential.

What you will do

• Operate CNC machines to produce machined parts for plasma cutting systems.
• Perform machining, assembly, and packaging tasks in an assigned manufacturing area.
• Use standard work instructions to complete production activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members in a clean, safe, and supportive manufacturing environment.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives that improve quality, reduce costs, and reduce environmental impacts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment assessment after initial screening.
• Comfort using technology, including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Excel, and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to learn technical material in a school-like setting, follow instructions, and apply basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and work in a factory environment.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in manufacturing, machining, military service, food service, retail, healthcare, education, or another hands-on work environment.
