CNC Machine Operator I

Location: Amesbury, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Employment is restricted to U.S. citizens due to federal government contract requirements.

Salary: $23.81–$28.46 per hour

hirify.global manufactures advanced lightweight composite materials, including carbon fiber, resins, prepregs, honeycombs, and engineered composite structures. ARC Technologies LLC, a hirify.global company, produces RF and EMI absorbing materials for defense and wireless applications.

What you will do

• Operate CNC machines and other machine shop equipment.
• Record manufacturing data accurately in computer systems.
• Inspect parts for defects and report issues to supervisors or leads.
• Measure parts with micrometers and gauges and use deburring tools to correct flaws.
• Maintain clean equipment and workspaces using 5S methodology.
• Follow quality, EHS, safety, company policy, and Code of Business Conduct requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience operating industrial equipment and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices and perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
