What you will do

• Drive and monitor profit, sales, and performance goals while managing operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
• Supervise, motivate, and coach Opticians, Contact Lens Sales associates, and, where applicable, Receptionists.
• Ensure high standards of customer service, quality, merchandising, promotions, and pricing execution.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, retention, and development of store associates.
• Mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Maintain an optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build effective associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• ABO and NCLE certification.
