Walmart operates a retail Vision Center providing eyewear, optical services, and customer support.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of customer and community needs.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign duties to, and recognize Vision Center Associates.
• Deliver customer service and resolve customer concerns in line with company standards.
• Provide quality eyewear services, including product selection, measurements, prescription verification, minor frame repairs, and optical equipment maintenance.
• Monitor compliance, asset protection, safety, confidentiality, quality assurance, and operational performance.
• Build stakeholder relationships, support community outreach, and implement improvement plans and company initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or one year of retail experience plus one year of supervisory experience, or two years of general work experience including one year of optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Experience supervising Associates is preferred.
