Vision Center Manager L3 - Licensed - 1362

Location: Destin, Florida, United States; onsite at 15017 Emerald Coast Parkway

Salary: $34.50–$46.00 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses.

Walmart operates retail Vision Centers providing eyewear products and optical services to customers.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of community needs.
• Lead customer service activities and resolve customer concerns within company guidelines.
• Oversee compliance, asset protection, safety, quality assurance, confidentiality, and performance improvement plans.
• Hire, train, mentor, schedule, recognize, and develop Vision Center Associates.
• Consult with customers on eyewear, verify prescriptions, take measurements, perform minor frame repairs, and maintain optical equipment.
• Coordinate operational assignments, stakeholder relationships, community outreach, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or qualifying combinations of retail, supervisory, general work, and optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Experience leading customer service, compliance, safety, inventory, or operational activities is relevant to the role.
• Must work onsite at the Destin, Florida Vision Center.
