What you will do

• Provide high-quality patient care and maintain a professional doctor’s office and pre-test room.
• Explain preliminary examinations and complete required patient paperwork.
• Perform pre-screening, preliminary testing, retinal screenings, and visual field testing.
• Review prescriptions and patient information, identify special needs, and consult with opticians, doctors, or retail management when needed.
• Maintain doctor and pre-test equipment and support a clean, organized clinical environment.

Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish reading and speaking skills required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn optical terminology, diseases, abbreviations, and procedures.
• Ability to explain instructions clearly and concisely to customers.
• Detail-oriented professional attitude and appearance.
• Previous retail or optical experience is preferred but not required.
