Vice President, Commercial Banker - ABL/Tech

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; may require up to 50% travel

Salary: $139,530–$1,723,600 annually for Denver, CO; additional location-based ranges may apply. The role may also include annual bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock.

What you will do

• Identify a target market and develop a new book of commercial banking and deposit business.
• Build relationships with venture-backed technology companies and promote lending, deposit, treasury, and other banking products.
• Underwrite, negotiate, and coordinate the closing and processing of complex commercial loans in accordance with bank policies.
• Analyze applicant financial information, financing risks, industry trends, and credit requests for senior management or Loan Committee review.
• Collaborate with treasury partners to deliver deposit and treasury management solutions.
• Maintain customer records, manage portfolio servicing issues, and represent the bank in community and business development activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of related commercial banking or financial services experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of banking operations, deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and commercial banking products.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced relationship management, organizational, time management, speaking, and writing skills.
• Interest in working with venture-backed technology companies.
