Construction Manager - Residence Based - US

Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania; 100% travel to project sites across North America. Candidates may reside anywhere in the US, with current needs in Texas, Louisiana, and the Los Angeles area. Assignments typically last 1–2 years, while mega-project assignments may last 2–5 years, with occasional short-term assignments between projects.

What you will do

• Oversee field construction activities for major capital projects valued at $25 million and above.
• Lead site safety programs and coordinate construction activities across multiple subcontractors.
• Manage construction contracts, quality, schedules, costs, RFIs, change orders, and corrective action plans.
• Track contractor productivity and project progress using construction productivity software.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement and contracts managers, inspectors, subcontractors, managers, and superintendents.
• Manage the turnover of completed and commissioned construction systems to hirify.global.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of heavy-industry construction experience with a record of strong safety and project performance.
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, contract management, planning, quality, and progress-tracking skills.
• Ability to travel 100% and accept flexible project assignments across North America.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ongoing access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
• Ability to provide daily updates, weekly reports, safety audits, quality assurance, progress measurement, and contract administration.

Nice to have

• Experience with P6, ProCore, or Go Completions.
• Air Separation Unit or Steam-Methane Reformer construction experience.
• Crane lift supervision experience.
• Cross-functional EPC, constructability, estimating, take-off, or project controls experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction.
