Team Member (Process Operator)

Location: Hastings, Victoria, Australia. Onsite work at the Western Port manufacturing facility with 12-hour rotating day and night shifts, including 7:00 am–7:00 pm and 7:00 pm–7:00 am rosters.

What you will do

• Operate machinery and equipment to process and manufacture steel products.
• Use forklifts, cranes, and other operational equipment where required.
• Pack and strap steel products and monitor output for quality control.
• Support a safe, efficient, and collaborative working environment.
• Work on your feet and perform manual handling around large machinery, heat, noise, and potential working-at-heights conditions.

Requirements

• Previous operations or manufacturing experience is not required.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and respect a diverse workforce.
• Flexibility and willingness to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays where rostered.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, and reference checks.

Hiring process

• Submit an application and complete a series of online activities.
• Attend an online Information Session on 14 October 2026 and a face-to-face Assessment Centre on 21 or 22 October 2026.
