Senior Data Analyst

Location: Walmart Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $80,000–$155,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Identify and source relevant data across multiple business domains.
• Assess data quality and lead data cleansing initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into actionable data projects and solutions.
• Develop analytical methods, visualizations, and reports using data analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate findings and influence data-driven decisions.
• Mentor junior analysts and maintain data governance and integrity standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience in data analysis, data management, and data cleansing.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data visualization and communicating complex insights to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data quality management, data governance, and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience with exploratory data analysis and statistical techniques.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, a master's degree in a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in data science, statistics, retail, merchandising, healthcare, or eCommerce.
• Experience with Spark, Scala, R, or Tableau.
• Successful completion of assessments in data analysis, business intelligence tools, or scripting languages.
