Senior Data Analyst (Snowflake/dbt)

Location: Hybrid schedule near the Charlotte, NC office; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Base salary: $105,000–$135,000 per year, plus variable incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for analytics solutions and data products.
• Design complex dashboards, semantic models, and scalable self-service analytics using Power BI or comparable platforms.
• Partner with Analytics Engineering to develop canonical models and gold-layer curated datasets in Snowflake using SQL and dbt.
• Lead migration of dashboards, semantic models, and analytical assets from legacy data sources to curated Snowflake views.
• Implement approved AI-assisted tools and automation for development, documentation, testing, migration, data quality, and user support with human review and governance.
• Coordinate delivery, measure adoption and data quality, mentor analysts, and establish reusable standards and development patterns.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and dbt, with knowledge of ELT, dimensional modeling, testing, lineage, and data quality.
• Experience designing, launching, and maintaining advanced analytical solutions and self-service BI products.
• Experience migrating analytical workloads to curated cloud data models using source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, Git-based version control, and code reviews.
• Experience applying AI-assisted analytics or development tools with appropriate validation, privacy, security, and responsible-use practices.
• 5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, analytics engineering, or related data roles, plus a degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
