Senior Technical Program Manager (Hardware)

Company

Develops 3D printing technology and hardware products used for prototyping, manufacturing, and medical applications.

What you will do

• Manage the strategy, planning, execution, and delivery of technically complex hardware products from concept through production.
• Own program budgets, staffing plans, product cost models, and end-product cost targets.
• Coordinate program teams, product stakeholders, engineering, production, and supply chain personnel.
• Define scope and program plans using disciplined project management methods to meet cost and schedule targets.
• Track progress, quality, risks, and issues, while communicating status and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of program management experience.
• Deep understanding of technical product design life cycles and problem-solving processes.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to trade-off discussions and program strategy.
• Experience creating and implementing tools for communication, scheduling, risk management, resource planning, cost tracking, and production planning.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including communication with senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a science discipline.

• Experience shipping highly complex technical products as a design engineer.
• Experience in startup or highly entrepreneurial environments.
• Experience leading hardware development with overseas manufacturing partners.
