FPGA Development Tools Engineer (FPGA)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 CAD annually, plus performance-based incentive opportunities.

hirify.global develops FPGA technologies and software tools that enable the use of field-programmable gate arrays.

What you will do

• Research, design, develop, and optimize software tools for FPGA development.
• Develop compilers, flows, assemblers, models, tools, runtimes, and firmware coupled to FPGA silicon, IP, and boards.
• Apply knowledge of FPGA hardware, logic design, board design, semiconductor devices, and chip layout.
• Design software abstractions and frameworks for FPGA acceleration in deep learning, DSP algorithms, and data analytics.
• Respond to customer and client requests or technical events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Working experience with C++ and Python.
• Experience with FPGA development and related software tools.
• Applicants must be eligible for any required Canadian export authorizations.
• Canadian work experience is not required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Verilog and Tcl.
