Senior Design/Verification Engineer (Mixed-Signal IC)

Salary: $115,000–$130,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Verify high-speed digital circuits using constrained-random verification methodologies.
• Develop behavioral models for analog circuits and perform mixed-level analog/digital simulations.
• Create product and technical documentation and prepare project plans and schedules.
• Provide technical guidance on verification tasks, resources, and project execution.
• Collaborate with analog, system, validation, test, product, and marketing engineers to meet customer and performance requirements.
• Lead mentoring and continuous improvement of design verification processes and productivity.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant industry experience; more than 7 years is preferred.
• Expertise in constrained-random verification using UVM, OVM, AVM, or VMM.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming; SystemVerilog is preferred.
• Experience with Python, TCL, Perl, or C scripting and programming languages.
• Working knowledge of PC and Unix/Linux operating systems and digital verification methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, teamwork, and prioritization skills.
