Lead Analytics Engineer

hirify.global provides hardware-related services and is building an in-house data capability to support operations and business leadership.

What you will do

• Own and scale the Snowflake data warehouse, transformation layer, data models, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build and operate reliable integrations with NetSuite, Jira or service platforms, and custom applications.
• Own the BI layer, currently using HEX, and evaluate future migration to Tableau or Looker.
• Partner with the COO and leaders across operations, finance, and engineering to build dashboards and actionable insights.
• Establish metric definitions, documentation, testing, governance, and data-quality standards.
• Automate operational reporting, SLA reporting, client review data, and ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience across analytics engineering, data engineering, or analytics, including ownership of data models and pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with integration or ETL tools such as Celigo, Fivetran, dbt, or custom API scripting.
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience working with ERP data, project management tools, and custom web applications.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize high-value analytics work, and deliver solutions from problem definition through implementation.

Nice to have

• Experience as the first or only data practitioner.
• Familiarity with HEX.
