Data Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and transformation workflows.
• Develop scalable data models, fact and dimension tables, and data marts for analytics and operational reporting.
• Implement and manage the data warehouse, ingestion workflows, event streaming, and core analytics infrastructure.
• Improve data quality, validation, governance, reliability, accessibility, and consistency across systems.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline, storage, warehouse-query performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to translate evolving requirements into scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a closely related role.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with document-based operational databases such as MongoDB and analytical warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines that transform raw application data into structured, analytics-ready datasets.
• Experience with ingestion or event-streaming platforms such as RudderStack, Segment, Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
• Hands-on experience with data transformation and modeling frameworks such as dbt or Dataform, including warehouse transformation layers and star-schema modeling.
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance, schema design, dimensional modeling, and performance optimization.
