Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake) (Data Engineering and AI): Building scalable Snowflake-based data solutions and ELT/ETL pipelines for enterprise clients with an accent on technical leadership, data quality, and modern data engineering practices. Focus on leading Data Engineers, designing reliable data platforms, and developing AI-ready data solutions with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and SQL.
Location: Paris, France; hybrid work with 3 days at the client’s office

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers while supporting technical growth and knowledge-sharing.
- Own day-to-day technical delivery, priorities, quality, and engineering practices.
- Develop and improve Snowflake-based data solutions and scalable ELT/ETL pipelines.
- Use dbt, Airflow, Fivetran/Stitch, SQL, and related tools to build modern data platforms.
- Drive data modelling, testing, data quality, and CI/CD practices.
- Work with technical and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues and deliver solutions for enterprise clients.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on Snowflake and SQL expertise with modern data pipeline experience.
- Experience leading or mentoring Data Engineers.
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran/Stitch, or equivalent tools.
- Good understanding of data modelling, data quality, and cloud data platforms.
- Strong communication skills in French and English at C1 level; ability to work from Paris, France with 3 days at the client’s office.
Nice to have
- Snowflake Cortex or AI experience.
- Python and streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP experience.
- Hightouch, Census, or CDP platform experience.
- Snowflake or dbt certifications and consulting or client-facing experience.
