TL;DR

What you will do
- Build and maintain dbt models with SQL and Jinja for finance, product, sales, and customer success analytics.
- Improve model quality with tests, freshness checks, constraints, and other data reliability controls.
- Create reports and dashboards in Metabase using its visual query builder.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and uncover insights in complex datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business domains and design scalable analytics solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or a related technical role.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and CTEs.
- Production experience with at least one dbt project and strong dimensional, relational, or semantic data modeling skills.
- Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Strong communication, documentation, data exploration, and basic statistical analysis skills.
- Experience with Git-based development, pull requests, code review, and CI/CD.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake and SnowSQL.
- Experience with Metabase, Looker, or Tableau.
- Python proficiency and experience with Pandas, Polars, or Jupyter Notebooks.
- Experience with AI and agentic harnesses.
