Electrical Test Technician 2

Salary: $26.03–$35.14 USD per hour

What you will do

• Perform electrical testing of main AC/DC electrical distribution systems during manufacturing.
• Test HVAC, lighting, receptacles, fans, fire alarm systems, battery systems, and cables.
• Follow AC/DC schematics and wiring diagrams and troubleshoot assembly, wiring, and testing problems.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to complete testing accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and recommend modifications to correct production issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in electrical testing or a related field.
• Knowledge of three-phase AC and DC control circuit testing and standard electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and NEC codes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, move through the production facility, and wear required PPE including gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and hearing protection.
