Senior Frontend Development Engineer (AI)

Salary: $197,529–$276,539.55 annual base pay for Washington applicants; other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Design and develop an AI-powered platform that translates configurations into production-ready React and React Native components.
• Build DSL parsers, validators, code-generation engines, and governance mechanisms for generated interfaces.
• Develop versioning, rollback, performance, accessibility, and quality controls for safely evolving UIs.
• Build self-evolving design-system capabilities and connect design tools with executable code.
• Define technical standards, contracts, schemas, and multi-runtime abstractions for scalable platform usage.
• Collaborate with designers, AI/ML engineers, backend developers, and product managers while mentoring engineers across the organization.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship, nationality, permanent residency, refugee status, or asylum status is required under export-control regulations.
• 7+ years of front-end development experience shipping production software.
• Expert-level HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript skills, with deep React experience.
• Experience developing platforms, tools, or frameworks used by other engineers, plus strong systems-thinking and architecture skills.
• GraphQL expertise and experience with CI/CD, testing, monitoring, Git, responsive design, and WCAG accessibility practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding architecture and technical growth.

Nice to have

• React Native, design systems, AI/LLM integration, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development experience.
• Compiler, parser, AST, code-generation, or DSL implementation knowledge.
• Node, AWS, containerization, Webpack, Vite, performance profiling, or multi-platform development experience.
• Experience partnering with designers and product managers to shape product direction.
