Sr. Project Manager, Revenue & Cost Accounting

Location: Hybrid role based in Bellevue, Washington, United States. International travel may be required up to three times per year.

Base salary: $104,000–$139,000 per year for most new hires; full range of $104,000–$188,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional accounting projects covering revenue recognition and cost accounting.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, stakeholder communications, and implementation activities.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Business, Systems, and Accounting teams to establish compliant accounting treatments for new business lines.
• Drive process improvement, automation, standardization, and operational scaling across revenue streams.
• Coordinate Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP enhancements for revenue and cost modules with IT.
• Strengthen internal controls and support month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations, entries, and reporting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue recognition and cost accounting.
• Experience with complex contract-driven accounting, such as revenue recognition, royalties, or licensing.
• Ability to interpret legal agreements and translate contractual terms into accounting treatment and operational processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, internal controls, financial reporting, and process improvement methodologies.
• At least 2 years of project management experience leading cross-functional accounting or finance initiatives.

• Lean, Six Sigma, Green Belt, or Black Belt experience or certification.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
