Sr. Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. Employment requires U.S. citizenship or nationality, permanent residency, refugee status, or asylum admission.

Base pay for Washington applicants: $197,529.00–$276,539.55 annually. Other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy complex software systems and infrastructure using .NET, Java, or Python.
• Architect Agentic AI solutions, including autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration frameworks, and LLM-powered workflows for enterprise operations.
• Build AI systems that reason over business data, make decisions, and take action with human-in-the-loop safeguards.
• Develop inventory management, production planning, scheduling, and material availability solutions for aerospace operations.
• Build web interfaces with Angular or React and integrate commercial products through RESTful services, AI/ML APIs, and message queues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and troubleshoot software across deployment, configuration, server-side, and client-side environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience with Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience leading system design and architecture, including cloud-based architectures and containerized workloads, preferably on AWS.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures, with the ability to deliver code under incomplete or ambiguous requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and an interest in AI/ML experimentation and advancement.
• Applicants must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
• 12+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
• Production experience with Agentic AI, multi-agent architectures, autonomous workflows, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, fine-tuning, or agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with scalable relational and non-relational data platforms and AI/ML in enterprise or ERP domains.
• Experience with inventory management, production planning, demand-driven material planning, manufacturing, or aerospace systems.
