Chemical Operator (Electronics Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Process, purify, and chemically fabricate products and compounds through batch operations.
• Operate reactors, tanks, pumps, mixers, meters, valves, hoses, and other production equipment.
• Handle, weigh, measure, and verify liquid and solid chemicals, raw materials, and finished products.
• Package, label, box, and manage finished products and hazardous waste containers according to standard operating procedures.
• Move materials with a forklift, collect process samples, maintain production and equipment logs, and coordinate with laboratory personnel.
• Communicate operational issues to shift leadership, participate in shift meetings, support continuous improvement, and train other chemical operators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0–2 years of applicable experience with batch production, chemical handling, or blending; chemical manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in a clean-room environment is preferred.
• Forklift certification and hazardous waste operations certification are preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly to engineering, sales, and technician groups.
