Plant Operator (Industrial Gases)

What you will do

• Safely handle and fill liquid, medical, and high-pressure gas cylinders.
• Analyze cylinders and calculate gas mixtures in line with company and government standards.
• Verify cylinder and valve compatibility and ensure mixtures can be safely produced.
• Operate control panels, valves, pressure gauges, scales, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Load and unload cylinders onto pallets, secure them, and maintain accurate production records.
• Follow safety procedures for hazardous materials and contribute to team operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• At least 1 year of related technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to follow hirify.global safety programs, OSHA requirements, and applicable regulations and procedures.
• Ability to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentages.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
