Process Operator (6pm-6am)

Location: Forest Park, Georgia, United States; onsite at the main facility. Full-time role on a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule from 6pm to 6am.

Starting hourly rate: $29.96 per hour, plus compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Add raw materials to process tanks and operate, monitor, and adjust equipment, controls, instrumentation, and ingredient flows.
• Operate forklifts and safely handle drums, totes, supersacks, and bulk raw materials.
• Troubleshoot processing systems, perform preventive maintenance, and identify corrective maintenance needs for piping, valves, gauges, actuators, and pumps.
• Perform railcar and bulk tanker unloading of caustic, high-strength bleach, and other hazardous chemicals in accordance with DOT and HazMat procedures.
• Maintain production records, inventories, security controls, safety systems, scales, pH meters, and viscometers; perform finished-product testing.
• Operate wastewater systems, support production scheduling and packaging performance, and participate in WCM processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably food or beverage.
• Knowledge of 5S standards, WCM processes, and Progressive Maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting processing systems and identifying preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• Knowledge of Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and SAP.
• Ability to work independently, handle physical materials weighing up to 50 lb, and follow hazardous-material and safety procedures.
