Chemical Operator

Location: Aurora, Illinois, United States. Onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday–Friday; overtime and occasional weekend shifts may be required.

Salary: $23–$24 per hour, depending on experience, plus shift differential and eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Produce, package, and prepare products for shipment.
• Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials for accurate chemical batches.
• Receive raw materials and containers and complete warehouse-related tasks.
• Enter production data, maintain records, and process material transactions in ERP systems.
• Perform quality testing, inspections, housekeeping, cycle counts, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support plant safety, 6S, LEAN manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical or chemistry-related experience and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform data entry and use email, Excel, and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and wear a respirator intermittently when required.
• Reliable attendance, teamwork, willingness to learn, and leadership or team-building skills.

Nice to have

• Chemical batch manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a related industry.
• Ability to multitask.
