Location: hirify.global sports facilities in Bozeman, Montana, United States. The role requires work at stadium, arena, athletic venue, and outdoor event locations, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and major home games.

hirify.global’s Sports Facilities department manages multi-use athletic and event complexes, including Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, the Student Wellness Center, Bobcat Stadium, and the Kagy/7th fields.

What you will do

  • Manage externally facing functions across sports and event facilities.
  • Serve as the primary booking contact for concerts and major shows, including promoter relationships, negotiations, contracts, and deal analysis.
  • Oversee event management, guest services, the reservation system, staffing, training, scheduling, payroll, and safety standards.
  • Supervise the Event Manager and provide indirect leadership for guest experience, office scheduling, and 75–100 guest services staff.
  • Coordinate with athletics, external partners, clients, accountants, and facility leadership on event delivery, revenue forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage assigned events from initial client contact through event day and support event setup and teardown.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, facilities management, operations, sports management, or a related field, plus substantial event-management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with booking, negotiating, and contracting live entertainment events.
  • Progressively responsible experience supervising and leading teams.
  • Proficiency with computer software, including office, graphics, CAD, audio editing, and scheduling tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet State of Montana requirements for operating university vehicles.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, long hours, consecutive days, occasional holidays, outdoor conditions, and emergent situations outside regular hours.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or advanced certificate in business, facilities management, operations, sports management, or a related field.
  • Experience with event settlement and intercollegiate athletics.
